This individual serves as the main point of contact for guests during this time frame to ensure an exceptional personalized service delivery in accordance with property, company, and brand guidelines.Notice: Applicants MUST have overnight work experience. Hospitality experience is preferred.Schedule AvailabilityOpen availability required / part-timeTypical schedule is the overnight shift from 11pm-7amWeekend availability is a mustOur part-time employees receive paid time off benefits on an accrual basis, a free meal for each scheduled work shift, discounts at Marriott properties worldwide, may participate in our 401k plan, and much more!Essential Job FunctionsBalance and audit room revenue, food and beverage revenue, banquet revenue, cashier’s’ reports, and guest and house accounts for accuracy; assisting with the preparation of all reports relevant to daily revenuesFollow all specified day closing audit procedures and perform related duties to successfully prepare the hotel for the next day of businessInteracts with guests by providing exceptional customer service and share hotel knowledge using personalization such as using the guest’s nameProcess mobile arrivals and execute flawless service in remote check in area according to property, company, and brand guidelinesCollect and verify methods of payment, as well as assist with any guest billing inquiries and concernsFollow all specified procedures to maintain and post a daily balance of all house accounts, including running preliminary reconciliations, detail transactions, and final reports to accounting and profit centersFollow all specified procedures to reconcile cashiers reports with the restaurant system each night, researching and posting any unresolved tickets from the day shifts.Report any suspicious activities or unusual items in hotel rooms and common areas to hotel leadership and/or loss prevention teamResponsible for knowing all functions to showcase the hotel and the hotel’s unique story to each guestActively engage guests in and promote hotel loyalty program, including new guest program enrollmentsCollect and verify methods of payment, produce room keys for all guests ensuring guest confidentiality throughout their stay and beyondAssign and escort guests to rooms according to their preferences, paying attention to those nonverbal cues that make each experience memorableConsistently utilize Empower guest experience tool to reference, maintain, and add guest requests, preferences, and communication details in accordance with property, company, and brand guidelinesExecute all required front office reports, pre-arrival planning, and checklists as outlined by leadershipServe as a concierge by providing local information for shopping, dining, and recreational destinations.
