Certified Surgical Technologist

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced certified surgical technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team. This position supports GI/endoscopy services and requires independent performance of specialized endoscopic procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a certified OR/surgical technologist in a surgical environment.
• Experience performing ERCP, EUS, and EBUS procedures independently. (Client required.)
• Experience with ION Robot for pulmonary procedures. (Client required; please note on profile for quicker submission.)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in high-volume endoscopy units or hospital-based GI/endoscopy service supporting multiple endoscopists and procedure rooms.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 06:30 - 15:30.
• Work Pattern: 5x8.
• Average daily census: 25 procedures.
• Procedure rooms: 4.
• May be assigned to an emergency team and required to remain on site or serve as relief per unit manager direction during emergency events.
