Registered Nurse - ICU travel assignment available in Chanute, Kansas, United States. Start date: 08/03/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,084-$2,163 per week. Guaranteed hours: not guaranteed. Shift: Nights, 7:00 pm-7:00 am (3x12-hour shifts). This assignment is at a Critical Access Hospital and is a travel, temporary position. ASAP starts only; not open to first-time travelers. The unit requires ICU experience, with potential to float within scope to meet facility needs.

Responsibilities
- Provide bedside nursing care for ICU patients, including continuous monitoring and rapid assessment of changes in condition
- Administer ICU-level medications and drips, including sedation management and ventilator support as required
- Perform ongoing patient assessments and accurately document in the Cerner charting system
- Respond to emergencies, collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, and adjust care plans as needed
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and comfort, while observing facility policies and procedures
- May float within scope to Med-Surg to support unit needs when directed

Requirements
- Active RN license in Kansas
- ACLS and PALS or ENPC certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of ICU experience
- Ability to work nights (7:00 pm-7:00 am) and adapt to unit needs
- Comfortable with ICU drips/sedation and critical care environments
- ASAP start; not suitable for first-time travel nurses
