Security Analyst

Candidates must be CURRENT WI residents. Those local to the Madison area are strongly preferred. No relocation allowed. After a trial period, this position may be eligible for remote work up to three days per week. Security Analyst II Responsible for supporting and enhancing the organization's IT Security Program. Serves as a technical security expert, leading security initiatives, implementing controls, monitoring environments, managing incidents, and recommending solutions to address security risks. Collaborates across teams to improve security posture, develop policies and standards, and support compliance efforts. Required Skills: 4-7 years of IT Security experience. Expert-level CrowdStrike administration. Expert-level Tenable administration. Strong attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred: CISSP or equivalent certification. Key Responsibilities: Administer and support CrowdStrike, Tenable, and Zscaler. Conduct security risk assessments and implement remediation plans. Evaluate security tools and perform proof-of-concept testing. Collaborate with technical teams on security projects and issue resolution. Monitor asset inventories, endpoint health, and security agent deployment. Review vulnerabilities, threat trends, and organizational risk exposure. Produce security reports, metrics, and compliance documentation. Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards. Monitor and respond to security incidents. Manage endpoint firewall configurations. Work independently and within cross-functional teams. Lead security-related projects and initiatives as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
