Compensation & Schedule Details

• Hours & Shift: 36 guaranteed hours per week (12-hour Days, 0700–1930)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Target Start Date: September 28, 2026 (or ASAP)
• Low Census Policy: Subject to unbillable low census hours (up to 36 hours total per contract), which can be called in 4-hour increments.

Key Facility Policies & Unit Guidelines

• Floating & Duties: Required to float to all inpatient units as needed. PSCU is a 40-bed post-surgical unit providing care for pre- and post-surgical adults and geriatrics (averaging 10–15 admissions/day). Patient ratios are 1:4–5 on days/PMs and 1:5–7 on nights.
• Scheduling: Every other weekend and holiday rotation required.
• Mandatory Health Policy: During flu season, any traveler who declines the flu and COVID-19 vaccination is strictly required to wear a mask at all times (no exceptions).
• Dress Code: Any color scrubs allowed.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of Med-Surg experience required, with prior travel experience REQUIRED and Level II trauma experience required.
• Licensure: Active Wisconsin (WI) RN license in hand at submittal.
• Certifications: AHA or ARC BLS required.
• Charting & Equipment: Epic charting experience required; familiarity with Rovers (medication scanning) and Alaris pumps.
