Manufacturing Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join our partner in Verona. This position goes beyond traditional maintenance and is ideal for someone with strong hands-on maintenance experience and a deep understanding of manufacturing equipment operations, particularly blow molding equipment. The technician will troubleshoot and maintain equipment while also supporting production staff with equipment setups, adjustments, and operational troubleshooting to help meet quality, efficiency, and production goals.

Hours:

2nd Shift - Evening/Overnight Hours

Ability to work independently and support production during 2nd shift operations

Pay:Starting at $30/hour

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and facility systems.

Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and electromechanical issues.

Perform equipment setups, adjustments, inspections, and preventive maintenance.

Provide hands-on support to production staff with equipment operation and troubleshooting.

Assist production teams in meeting quality, efficiency, and production goals.

Support blow molding equipment operations and make adjustments as needed.

Minimize machine downtime by responding quickly to equipment issues.

Maintain spare parts inventory and accurate maintenance records using CMMS software.

Work closely with production and manufacturing teams to improve equipment performance and reliability.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency and quality.

Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with company safety standards.

Qualifications:

2-year technical degree or equivalent maintenance experience.

Strong experience with industrial manufacturing equipment and equipment operations.

In-depth knowledge of blow molding equipment is strongly preferred.

Experience with plastic molding or injection molding equipment is a plus.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motors, drives, and electromechanical equipment.

Ability to perform equipment setups, adjustments, troubleshooting, and repairs.

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during 2nd shift operations.

Basic computer skills and experience documenting maintenance activities.

Commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and push/pull up to 500 lbs.

Ability to climb ladders and work around industrial equipment.

Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.

Valid driver's license required.
