About the Role Stopwatch Urgent Care is hiring a full-time experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Auburn clinic. Auburn is a vibrant college city in east-central Alabama, home to Auburn University, with a strong local economy and a growing population. This role also covers our nearby Opelika clinic. At a Glance Sign-on bonus of up to $10,000, based on experience and start date, with a 12-month commitment Pay: $55-$90/hour based on experience, qualifications, and clinical assessment, time-and-a-half after 40 hours Rotating 3-4 schedule: three shifts one week, four the next No on-call, no overnights, rotating weekends Average of 3-4 patients per hour Company-paid malpractice Collaborative practice agreement provided DOT Medical Examiner training provided at no cost Generous CME allowance Student loan repayment assistance program Free clinic visits for you and your family Benefits package recognized as a Top 10 program nationally among private urgent care organizations What You'll Do Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and episodic conditions. Perform common urgent care procedures, including laceration repair, abscess drainage, splinting, wound care, and DOT physicals. Order and interpret in-house labs and imaging. Prescribe, educate patients, and complete same-day charting in Experity EMR. How You'll Practice You are the provider on shift and make your own clinical decisions, backed by established protocols, a dedicated clinic team, and clinical leadership when you need them. Onboarding includes a structured clinical orientation. Schedules are published in advance through a self-scheduling app, and extra shifts are easy to pick up. Compensation $55-$90/hour based on experience, qualifications, and clinical assessment. Productivity incentives are available above base pay. Sign-on bonuses are offered on a case-by-case basis, based on experience and start date. Relocation assistance may also be available.
