Commercial Roofing Estimator

Location: Jessup, MD

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator to join our growing team in Jessup, MD . This position is responsible for preparing accurate estimates and competitive bids for commercial roofing, waterproofing, and sheet metal projects while working closely with vendors, subcontractors, and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for commercial roofing, waterproofing, and sheet metal projects.
• Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents.
• Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing.
• Develop competitive proposals and bid packages.
• Track bids, negotiate pricing, and provide best and final offers.
• Review contracts and proposals to ensure scope and pricing accuracy.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and industry partners.
• Attend industry events and networking opportunities to expand business relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of commercial roofing estimating experience required.
• Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems and manufacturer specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Prior project management experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and employment verification.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: Starting at $75,000-95,000+ , based on experience.
