Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Type: Contract | 13 Weeks

Shift: 3x12 Day Shift

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Respiratory Therapist for an exciting Travel or Local job in Hyannis, MA.

Key Responsibilities
• Assess acute and chronic cardiopulmonary dysfunction
• Initiate and manage ventilatory support using lung protective strategies
• Recommend ventilator settings, monitor patient response, and assist with ventilator weaning
• Perform diagnostic procedures including ABG draws and sputum collection
• Interpret ABG results and assist with bedside spirometry and capnography
• Manage respiratory status during patient transport within and outside facility
• Respond to Code Blue and Rapid Response Team (RRT) events
• Assist with intubations and conscious sedation procedures
• Administer oxygen therapy, high-flow oxygen, Heliox, and aerosolized medications
• Provide care for neonatal and pediatric respiratory patients
• Maintain and manage artificial airways including tracheostomy care
• Perform suctioning and assist with airway clearance therapies
• Assess and manage non-invasive ventilation
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and provide respiratory support
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and equipment readiness

Requirements
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) required
• Current Massachusetts Respiratory Therapy license required
• Current BLS Certification required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• Strong communication and patient care skills required
• Ability to communicate effectively in English required
