Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist to join our imaging team in Northfield, NJ.
Schedule
- Tuesday through Friday
- No on-call responsibilities
- Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography examinations.
- Operate mammography equipment while following established safety and quality protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and proper technique.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to deliver timely diagnostic imaging.
- Follow all state, federal, and facility regulations related to mammography services.
- Assist with bone density (DEXA) studies as needed.
- Perform general X-ray procedures if qualified and required.
- Assist with stereotactic and breast biopsy procedures when applicable.
- Minimum of 3 years of Mammography Technologist experience .
- Current ARRT certification in Mammography (RT(M)).
- Active state licensure as required.
- Experience assisting with breast biopsy procedures is strongly preferred.
- Ability and willingness to perform general X-ray procedures is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Approximately 13-22 mammography and DEXA patients per day .
