Cardiac Recovery RN

Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule Three 12-hour shifts per week - 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM

Job Description The Cardiac Recovery RN will provide exceptional care in the Cath Lab Recovery unit. The successful candidate will work in a team-oriented environment and engage in a variety of procedures associated with cardiac recovery, supporting postoperative patients through their recovery process.

Responsibilities Conduct assessments and monitor vital signs for patients recovering from cardiac procedures. Manage IV pumps, bedside monitors, and telemetry boxes to ensure patient stability. Perform sheath pulls, groin management, and radial access site management. Administer moderate sedation as needed and provide post-procedural care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Ensure compliance with safety and care protocols as outlined in unit policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current RN license along with ACLS certification is required. Experience in critical care, cardiac stepdown, or similar high-acuity settings. Previous experience in interventional radiology or cath lab is preferred. Moderate sedation experience is a plus.
