We are looking for a professional Retail Pharmacist to manage and operate the pharmacy within our wellness center. This role necessitates a compassionate approach and meticulous attention to detail, providing pharmaceutical care to our community. Responsibilities Dispensing prescription medications to patients and offering expertise in the safe use of prescriptions. Reviewing prescriptions to ensure accuracy, to ascertain the needed ingredients, and to evaluate their suitability for the patient. Providing information and advice to patients about drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and proper medication storage. Assessing the strength and purity of medications and ensuring compliance with regulations. Managing health and wellness screenings and providing immunizations. Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize care. Maintaining records such as pharmacy files, patient profiles, charge system files, inventories, and registries of controlled drugs. Educating patients on health promotion, disease prevention and managing chronic conditions. Required Skills Strong understanding of dosage forms, drug interactions, pharmacy law and medical ethics. Excellent communication skills for explaining complex issues to patients and staff. Detail-oriented with strong focus on accuracy and effective problem-solving.
