Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020–$2,130
• Schedule: 36 hours per week; three 12-hour shifts
• Shift: Rotating days, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., and nights, 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.; typically one week of days followed by one week of nights
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend; holiday coverage may be required
• Call: Not required
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Floating: May float between the Emergency Department and Medical-Surgical unit
• Location: Kellogg, Idaho, in the scenic Silver Valley, surrounded by mountain views, outdoor recreation, and a welcoming small-town atmosphere

Emergency Department RN Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Idaho
• At least 2 years of recent Emergency Department or Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to work rotating day and night shifts, every-other-weekend coverage, and occasional holidays
• Ability to float between Emergency Department and Medical-Surgical assignments as needed
• Two professional references reflecting recent specialty experience may be required
• COVID-19 vaccination is required for this travel nursing assignment

Emergency Department Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Perform rapid assessments, triage, and ongoing monitoring of patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
• Prioritize care and initiate appropriate nursing interventions based on patient acuity
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient responses, and promptly escalate changes in condition
• Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary care team to support timely evaluation and patient disposition
• Provide patient and family education, emotional support, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and follow all safety and infection-prevention practices
• Deliver safe, adaptable patient care when floating to the Medical-Surgical unit
