Billing Specialist

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Billing Specialist to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $70,000 to $85,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and audit client bills to ensure rate compliance, accurate narratives, and proper transfers
• Prepare and submit electronic invoice files while resolving e-billing issues efficiently
• Monitor e-billing progress and ensure timely resolution of deductions and setup issues
• Coordinate with internal departments and clients to address billing-related questions and transitions
• Assist with month-end closing, reporting, and ad hoc analysis of complex client accounts

Requirements:

• Understand written procedures and apply detailed notes to perform tasks consistently
• Demonstrate strong written communication skills in customer service emails and documentation
• Solve billing problems by proposing effective and creative solutions
• Use MS Excel with advanced proficiency including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and SUMIF formulas
• Perform basic math calculations accurately and consistently

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent (preferred)
• 5+ years of billing or eBilling experience in a law firm environment
• Use Elite 3E and eBilling Hub with confidence and accuracy
• Communicate clearly and professionally with all levels of personnel
• Maintain a customer service mindset with strong organizational and multitasking skills
