Diesel Mechanic Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Maintenance Technician responsible for diagnosing and repairing medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, reefer units, and maintenance vehicles. Key duties include performing preventative maintenance, inspecting brake and steering systems, ensuring equipment compliance, and documenting repairs using an online management system. Responsibilities Complete repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance on fleet diesel equipment Identify root causes of failures and perform necessary repairs Inspect critical components like brakes and wheels for proper operation Ensure equipment meets licensing and registration requirements Install and repair onboard computers and electrical components Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and lubrication Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively Train other employees and perform road call services as needed Maintain thorough documentation for all work performed Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or GED 5-7 years of experience in medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair Expertise in diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, A/C refrigeration, and component repair Ability to use diverse hand and power tools Strong attention to safety, compliance, and documentation #J-18808-Ljbffr RG&T Solutions
