Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Occupational Health Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Staff Augmentation Duration: 52 weeks Shift: Evening Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Ohio Licensure required Certifications: CPR certification required Must-Have: - Ability to provide direct care to patients. - Skills in medication administration, including oral, intramuscular, and intravenous methods. - Capability to monitor patient medication compliance and perform treatments. - Experience assisting with medical procedures and managing chronic care clinics. - Ability to respond to emergencies, providing emergency care and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. - Competence in conducting subjective and objective patient assessments. - Proficiency in collecting vital signs and documenting findings. - Experience collecting urine and other bodily fluid specimens. - Skills in preparing patients for release or transfer. - Ability to ensure timely completion of discharge medication orders. - Willingness to participate in work-related training and institutional exercises. Description: Provide patient care as directed. Administer medications and monitor patient medication compliance. Perform treatments and assist with nursing sick calls. Assist with chronic care clinics and respond to emergency situations. Conduct assessments, collect vital signs, and document findings. Prepare patients for release or transfer to other facilities. Ensure discharge medication orders are completed in a timely manner. Participate in work-related training and institution training exercises. Assist other healthcare staff and document areas of concern. Review shift reports and assist physicians with medical procedures. Counsel and educate patients regarding healthcare maintenance and disease prevention. Participate in quality assurance activities and provide training to new nurses and staff. Serve as a resource for healthcare and security staff regarding healthcare matters. Participate in health and wellness initiatives. Perform administrative duties as necessary, including attending meetings. Adjust shift work assignments and manage inventory of medical supplies. Conduct oneself in a professional and law-abiding manner at all times. Perform other related duties as assigned.
