Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner

Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner / Physician AssistantWe are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a collaborative urgent care team. This position offers meaningful clinical autonomy and the opportunity to contribute to clinical workflows and practice development.Responsibilities include:Evaluate, diagnose, and treat walk-in patients of all ages.Manage a broad range of acute illnesses and minor injuries.Treat upper respiratory infections, urinary tract infections, skin conditions, sprains, minor fractures, lacerations, and other minor injuries.Perform minor procedures, including suturing and wound care.Provide basic splinting and injury management.Perform and interpret point-of-care testing.Provide occupational health services.Administer IV therapies as appropriate.Develop and maintain high-quality patient care practices.Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.Contribute to clinical protocols, workflows, and practice development.Participate in operational and practice-growth initiatives.Manage an average patient volume of approximately 25-35+ patients per shift.Education, licensure, and experience required:Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.Active Washington State NP or PA license.Washington State DEA registration or willingness to obtain.Minimum 2+ years of experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, family medicine, or a similar setting.Experience performing suturing and other minor procedures.Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.Ability to evaluate and treat a broad range of patient presentations.Strong patient communication and education skills.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative urgent care environment.Weekend availability required.No on-call or overnight shifts.Benefits include:$10,000 sign-on bonus.Approximately 3 shifts per week, with 12-hour shifts preferred.Flexible scheduling based on provider availability.2 weeks of PTO, with increases based on tenure.$2,500 annual CME allowance.5 days of paid CME time.Paid holidays.Employer-paid malpractice insurance.401(k) with employer match.Health insurance.Professional license renewal fees covered.DEA registration fees covered.
