Senior Program Manager
Owen Daniels is currently partnered with a world leader in aerospace technology. They are a global brand who covers the full lifecycle of aircraft components, including design, manufacturing, and in-service support. They are currently seeking a Senior Program Manager to operate as the primary customer contact for high value, commercial Aerospace programs.
Job Summary
- Own contract performance and business outcomes across program lifecycle
- Lead cross-functional matrix teams through influence rather than direct authority
- Own integrated programme schedules, data integration, and tracking of financial and quality performance; drive corrective actions where needed.
- Lead the team to address critical issues on complex programmes and develop action plans to recover performance.
- Lead programme planning across mature and new product development programmes; direct all phases of the programme lifecycle.
- Oversee and approve task planning, resource requirements, and effort estimates; set and communicate priorities and changing requirements to functional areas.
- Serve as the primary customer point of contact for programme activities, status, and issue resolution; negotiate contract changes related to scope.
- Act as key presenter and facilitator at major programme reviews; ensure actions are documented and communicated.
- Advise leadership on specific programmes and on programme management practice; mentor and provide leadership to project teams.
Required and Desirable Experience
- 4- year University Degree
- Demonstrated programme management experience within Aerospace or Automotive manufacturing
- Excellent customer-facing experience, including contractual negotiations and senior stakeholder interaction
- PMP Certification or willingness to obtain during employment
