Details Work in the Operating Room department of a pediatric hospital Pediatric surgical patient population Functions as an RN Circulator Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM On-call responsibilities required, with specifics discussed during interview Block scheduling is not guaranteed May float between like units and campuses within a 20-mile radius, though cross-campus floating is rare Requirements Active RN license in the state, or a compact RN license (TN or compact) that complies with NLC guidelines Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience with at least 1 prior travel assignment, or 3 years of OR experience without travel history Pediatric OR experience required At least 1 completed prior travel assignment required; first-time travelers not accepted BSN required for this position Cerner EMR experience preferred Driver's license copy required for consideration Vaccination status documentation required Additional Information Serve as RN Circulator supporting pediatric surgical cases in the Operating Room Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility; local candidates within this radius are not eligible Holiday coverage required: if Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's all fall within the assignment, must work 2 of the 3; if only 2 of these holidays fall within the assignment, must work at least 1 Former permanent staff or travelers previously employed at the facility must be separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler Any certifications set to expire during the assignment must have a documented renewal plan American Traveler Job ID P-737571.
