PRN Registered Nurse (RN) Outpatient - Concierge Clinics

RN Outpatient Opportunity

Inova VIP 360 is looking for a dedicated RN Outpatient to join the team. This role will be PRN, day shift Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

Work locations: This PRN role will cover Fair Oaks and Ballston Locations: 3580 Joseph Siewick Dr #306, Fairfax, VA 22033 and 1005 N Glebe Rd UNIT 710, Arlington, VA 22201

Greater than 1 year of RN experience is preferred.

The Registered Nurse Outpatient provides safe/therapeutic care in a holistic and systematic way in a physician practice or other outpatient setting. Incorporates differences into the provision of care while integrating knowledge, skills and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families to include patient and family education. Achieves desired patient outcomes by using an integrated approach. Incorporates data and information to improve care and enhances outcomes while ensuring improvements in practice settings. Provides direction and guidance to others regarding practice while serving as a resource, preceptor and mentor.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Triage
• Vision and hearing tests
• Vaccines
• Injections

Additional Requirements:

Experience: 0 years of registered nurse clinical experience.

Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.

Certification: BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification required

Licensure: RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN

Preferred Qualifications: at least 1 year of experience as RN in a clinical setting.
