Therapist - Physical Therapy Assistant

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide supportive physical therapy assistance to patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Ensure effective implementation of treatment plans to promote patient recovery and well-being.

Responsibilities:

Assist in conducting patient evaluations and implementing treatment protocols.
Prepare treatment areas and ensure equipment is properly sanitized and ready for use.
Educate patients on exercises and activities to support their therapy goals.
Document patient progress and report findings to supervising therapists.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment.

Qualifications:

Hold a current and valid Physical Therapy Assistant license or credential.
Possess recent experience assisting in physical therapy settings.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Exhibit knowledge of therapeutic procedures and equipment.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
