Store Manager

Role Summary The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all store operations, including staffing, training, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service. They recruit, select, and develop staff, conduct performance evaluations, and ensure store compliance with policies and legal requirements. The manager evaluates financial and operational performance, manages inventory levels, and maintains a safe, clean, and organized environment. They handle cash procedures, security, and safety protocols while ensuring excellent customer service. Additionally, they open and close the store as needed and utilize reporting tools to monitor business trends. Qualifications & Skills Ability to interpret safety and operating procedures Strong math, cash handling, and inventory management skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of recruiting, legal compliance, and safety policies Organizational skills with attention to detail Problem-solving abilities in varied situations Bilingual skills may be preferred in some locations Experience & Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred Management experience in retail is a plus Physical & Working Conditions Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 40-55 pounds Occasional climbing and outside weather exposure Fast-paced environment with moderate noise levels Must be able to provide own transportation for store duties #J-18808-Ljbffr
