Structured Finance Associate

Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Structured Finance Associate to join its finance group in Baltimore, MD. The role focuses on transactions involving commercial-mortgage backed securities (CMBS) and offers an opportunity to engage in meaningful work and career growth.
Duties
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
- Draft well-reasoned legal documents, including briefs and contracts.
- Assist in managing complex cases from inception to resolution.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative strategies.
- Participate in high-level legal activities such as trials and negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations.
- Engage in professional development opportunities.
- Contribute to firm programs and community involvement.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a law firm.
- Experience in commercial real estate finance, CMBS, or structured finance preferred.
- AmLaw 100 law firm experience preferred but not required.
Education
- JD degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Admitted to practice in the state of Maryland.
