Location: Iowa City, IA Position Type: Full-Time, Day Shift Salary/Pay Rate: $80,000 - $85,000 Position Overview Are you an experienced manufacturing supervisor ready to step into a full management role? Or are you a seasoned pro looking to escape the 24/7 chaos of a massive plant? We are looking for a hands-on Production Manager to lead our tight-knit manufacturing team. Unlike massive corporate facilities with endless red tape, this is a streamlined 2-line operation with fewer than 20 employees across two shifts. This means you will have true ownership of the floor, a highly predictable schedule, and a work environment where your impact is noticed daily. Core Responsibilities Oversee daily operations for our 2-line production floor to meet output goals. Lead, coach, and schedule a small, dedicated team of assembly/production workers. Ensure product quality standards and strict adherence to safety protocols. Basic troubleshooting of equipment issues on the line alongside the team when needed. Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and track daily production logs. Qualifications 2+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing setting (e.g., Manager, Line Supervisor, or Coordinator). Strong communication skills with a natural ability to motivate a small team. Hands-on mentality—you enjoy being out on the floor, not trapped in an office all day. Basic computer skills for tracking production data and schedules. Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
