Associate General Counsel (Litigation)
Our client is seeking an Associate General Counsel to manage their litigation portfolio. This role is designed for a high-performing attorney looking to transition from a traditional law firm model into a strategic, business-integrated environment. You will take full ownership of litigation strategy, working directly with executive leadership to influence business outcomes and manage diverse real estate and commercial disputes.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $150,000 base salary

What You'll Do:
- Manage litigation matters independently from inception through resolution (excluding trial)
- Draft pleadings, motions, and key legal documents
- Lead discovery, conduct depositions, and attend hearings and mediations
- Drive negotiations and help shape favorable outcomes
- Serve as the point person coordinating with outside counsel on larger or trial-bound matters
- Partner directly with internal stakeholders to provide practical, business-focused legal guidance
What We're Looking For:
- 3-5 years of commercial/business litigation experience
- Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar
- Strong hands-on litigation experience with the ability to manage a caseload autonomously
- Real estate litigation experience is a strong plus
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities
