Warehouse Manager

Base Pay: $42,000 - $50,000 Based on Experience 100% Employer Paid Vision Insurance 100% Employer Paid Life Insurance Policy 50/50 Employee/Employer Paid Health Insurance Job Summary Responsible for the storage and movement of materials and goods including: Shipping and receiving. Warehousing. Order filling, picking, and packing. Inventory control, purchasing, and records management. Developing transport schedules, methods, and routes. Maintaining, loading, packing, and driving vehicles. Driving business forward through customer and vendor relationships,interviewing and hiring warehouse employees, leadership of the warehouse team and ownership of the success of the business. Description As a Warehouse Manager you are responsible for oversight of the activities associated with warehouse operations, including, but not limited to, order selection, product loading, stocking and replenishment. Requirements also include operating equipment, working closely with vendors to ensure accuracy and timeliness of products, managing and training warehouse staff to ensure safety, security, and cleanliness of the warehouse.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages the daily work and safety of employees engaged in order selection, product replenishment, and order loading, to include all warehouse functions. Identifies opportunities to grow sales and improve operational efficiency Oversees labor hours and payroll reporting. Handles the proper utilization of Company assets in support of the warehouse. Suggests efficiency ideas, cost reduction measures and assists with the implementation of changes within the warehouse. Identifies problems, proposes solutions to other members of management and promotes cooperation with other departments. Conducts shipping and loading audits daily ensuring all required documentation is accurately completed and that material is handled and stored correctly with a minimum potential for loss. Monitors sanitation and facility/racking to ensure a safe and clean warehouse. Maintains and leads company culture through regular and daily meetings, high levels of communication on day to day tasks and team bonding. Keeps open communication channels with associates by answering questions and explaining policies and procedures. Leads team and company morale. Interprets trains and consistently enforces Company policies and procedures. Coordinates efforts with other management leaders to aid in training, conducting associate observations, updating preferred work methods, conducting accident investigations to determine root causes, and routine safety inspections. Accountability measures for the warehouse team. Executes management functions of staff selection, development, discipline, performance reviews and/or terminations. Performs all duties of the warehouse team, leading from the boots on the ground level. Complies with local, state and federal regulatory agencies (i.e. OSHA, AIB, FDA, USDA, etc.).

QUALIFICATIONS

Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED). 2 or 4-year college degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or similar major preferred. Experience 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and related experience. Quickbooks knowledge preferred Professional Skills Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Can add, subtracts, multiply, and divides into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Solve practical and complex problems, solution driven. Interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Demonstrate knowledge of Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software, and ability to learn Coffee of the Nations technology software and programs (Quickbooks, Slack, Google Workspace, etc.). Successfully engage and lead individual and team discussions and meetings. Apply all relevant policies in a consistent, timely and objective manner. Capable of working with peers and associates from other departments and shifts proactively and constructively. Work in a disciplined manner and capable of following established procedures, practices and comply with local, state and federal regulations. Reports to work promptly and regularly; works well with others; demonstrates the ability to consistently meet deadlines. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Operate and drive delivery van. Working Conditions To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
