What You'll Do

As an Assistant Teacher, you'll work alongside a Lead Teacher to help create a classroom where children feel safe, loved, challenged, and excited to learn.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting engaging, hands-on learning experiences
• Building positive relationships with children and families
• Encouraging children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• Helping maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom
• Assisting with daily routines and transitions
• Working collaboratively with your teaching team
• Helping create a classroom where every child feels like they belong

Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work well independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude with excellent communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds in connection with the care of children
• Must successfully complete all required state background clearances and licensing requirements
