Exciting Opportunity for Registered Nurses in Labor & Delivery!

Job Description:


- Join a dynamic team in a 172 bed, Level II Trauma Teaching Hospital renowned for its excellence in patient care!


- Schedule:
- 12-hour night shifts, working 3 shifts per week (36 hours/week).
- Flexible compliance for quick start dates.

- Orientation:
- Weekly orientations on Mondays .
- Comprehensive orientation process with clinical preceptors .

- Patient Care:
- Engage with a diverse patient population, including high-risk due to a high diabetic demographic.
- 1:1 nursing care ratio for patients at 6cm or greater dilation, on magnesium or insulin drips.

- Department Details:
- 8 LDR rooms , 2 Triage (serving as Pre-Op for C-Sections) , 2 ORs , 2 PACU beds .
- Fetal surveillance using OBIX and charting via Meditech and Pyxis for medication administration.

- Requirements:
- Active California RN license .
- Current BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association).
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in L&D setting.
