Description What You'll Contribute

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical lab tests across various fields including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, in accordance with established procedures.
• Interpret results for accuracy, address errors as they arise, and ensure preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Support in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Thoroughly document all laboratory procedures, mentor new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
