Systems Engineer

Systems EngineerHolmes-Tucker International, Inc. (HTii) is seeking a Systems Engineer to support customers in multiple Program Offices located in Patuxent River, MD.DutiesParticipate in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) activities using commercial MBSE tools to identify program requirements, needs, and relationships and manage the execution of systems engineering processes, including interfaces, key performance parameters, operational concepts, logical architectures, and physical architectures.Review design development, analysis, and tasks on systems with minimal supervision.Act as a lead on less complex tasks and be responsible for a portion of a design or section of an analysis or design review.Generate complete design specifications of more complex projects.Coordinate and work closely with other engineering, logistics, financial, and program management disciplines to define system specifications and requirements.Develop, maintain, and produce technical documentation and system/subsystem specifications.Coordinate technical work with customers at all levels from quotation to final design and test activities, design reviews and technical working group meetings to comply with requirements and specifications.Establish and maintain filing systems and databases as needed to track project status.Verify and comply with engineering documentation standards and test procedures.Support development of technical proposals and provide comments on the technical content and level of effort of the proposed scope of work.Maintain an upbeat, helpful, and responsive demeanor to customers at all times.Work across the HTii team to provide the best possible support to its acquisition customers.Required Qualifications and ExperienceExcellent communication and analytical skills.Experience with modeling and simulation tool sets and software.Experience performing systems engineering analysis and producing reports that detail requirements analysis, analysis of alternatives, system architecture and definition, and system integration and test.Experience with risk analysis and risk reporting.Familiarity with DOD Acquisition Life Cycle.Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.Possess and maintain a SECRET Clearance.Desired ExperienceModel-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience3 years of aviation acquisition or relevant work experienceEducationB.S.
