Position Overview

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize the comfort and safety of patients during all procedures, providing clear and compassionate explanations throughout
• Work in collaboration with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure exceptional quality in diagnostic imaging
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any issues that arise
• Diligently document processes and keep patient records current within our electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound techniques and practices

Educational Background

• Completion of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Required Certifications

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification strongly preferred

• Demonstrated technical expertise in sonographic imaging procedures and optimal patient positioning
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
