Role Description The Supervising Rheumatologist is a part-time remote role responsible for overseeing the clinical management of patients with rheumatologic conditions, including arthritis and autoimmune diseases. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing complex cases, providing expert consultation to primary care providers, and offering guidance on diagnosis, treatment plans, and ongoing management of rheumatologic disorders. The Supervising Rheumatologist will collaborate with clinicians through chart reviews, telehealth consults, and case discussions to support evidence-based, patient-centered care. Additional responsibilities may include contributing to clinical protocols, supporting quality improvement initiatives, and staying current with emerging research and best practices in rheumatology. Qualifications Clinical expertise in Medicine and Rheumatology, with the ability to supervise and guide care for complex rheumatologic conditions. Strong knowledge of Arthritis and Osteoporosis management, including diagnosis, treatment options, and long‑term monitoring. Ability to interpret and apply Rheumatology‑related Research to clinical practice and contribute to evidence‑based care guidelines. Active, unrestricted MD or DO license in an appropriate U.S. state; board certification in Rheumatology strongly preferred. Experience providing telehealth or remote clinical supervision and comfort working with electronic health records and digital communication tools. Excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care in a collaborative team environment. Prior experience in outpatient rheumatology and supervising or mentoring other clinicians is beneficial. #J-18808-Ljbffr
