Head Start Teaching Assistant - Walnut Creek Full Time $22.03 per hour Austin, Texas, United States - 78753 Description Position Purpose The Teacher Aide is a member of the classroom team and helps plan and initiate meaningful learning activities for Head Start children ages 3-5 years. The Teacher Aide assists the teacher in conducting classroom activities, maintaining classroom environment, and supervising children and may also assist in planning and record keeping and other classroom related duties. REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP): Janitorial Services Contract Child Inc., the Head Start Grantee for Travis County, is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide comprehensive janitorial services. These services shall include all required labor, supplies, materials, and equipment. Child Inc. operates an Administrative Campus consisting of five buildings, as well as thirteen child development centers located throughout the City of Austin. Child Inc. intends to award one or more contracts with an anticipated term of twelve (12) months.
