Registered Nurse - Acute Medical Unit (Med Surg)

This is a 13-week contract position.

12-hour day shifts, 12x3 schedule, with varying times from 7 AM to 7:30 PM.

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Acute Medical Unit, specializing in Med Surg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

Deliver direct patient care in a clinical setting.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.

Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.

Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.

A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Med Surg nursing.

Current AHA BLS & ACLS certification.

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
