Shifts: 4x10hrs, Days; weekends, holidays, on call/callback per unit needs
Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Rad Tech for a travel assignment in Rochester, NY. This position requires expertise in neurosurgery/neuroscience and a dedicated approach to patient care in a dynamic clinical setting. - Work cooperatively with department members to resolve problems expediently
- Display flexibility, team spirit, compassion, and respect when interacting with customers
- Administer oral contrast as needed per exam
- Instruct and prepare patients for radiographic/fluoroscopic examinations and assist Radiologist during procedures
- Operate all x-ray equipment, CR, and DR systems proficiently
- Report equipment malfunctions to manager or lead
- Complete assigned procedures in a timely manner and assist in clerical duties and stocking
- Maintain medication security to authorized personnel only
- Use Hospital Information System (HIS), Radiology Information System (RIS), and PACS competently
- Participate in hospital performance improvement activities
- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- Two (2) years of experience
- Licensing in the state of NY
- Neurosurgery/Neuroscience experience
- ARRT certification
- VIR experience is nice to have
