As an engineer with Solvus Global you will work with team members from many fields (mechanical, controls, software, etc.) to define the problem space, propose a solution, design the architecture, manage projects, and co-develop the final product. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing Friction Stir Welding parameters, building large parts for customers, selecting ideal materials, designing fixturing, and driving the business case for friction stir additive manufacturing. Required Attributes & Skills: Must be a US Person according to FAR22 CFR 120.15 - US Person Minimum 5 years' experience in Friction Stir Welding Experience designing fixtures and building parts Experience in additive manufacturing with friction stir preferable CAD/CAM experience including an understanding of g-code Advantageous Attributes & Skills: Degree in Mechanical, Materials, or Welding Engineering Desire to work in a team-based environment Desire to develop new skills on the job Ability to take and give direction well Strong desire to understand both technology and business aspects Pay Range: $110,000 - $160,000 Disclosure Statement: This salary range is a good-faith estimate, and the final offer will be based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, skills, and our internal equity analysis. #J-18808-Ljbffr Solvus Global
