By actively researching loans for the best option and helping clients navigate the application, approval, and closing process in a timely and cost-effective manner, you will help to create long term and loyal clients. A top candidate will have the following skills and experience: Experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator and/or Financial Sales Specialist with a verifiable sales track record preferred Have a Mortgage banking license under DFI, Department of Financial Institutions, and NMLS Exercise your proven communication, listening and interpersonal skills to pursue leads, manage your loan pipeline, follow-up on missing data or documentation, ensure timelines are met and build strong working relationships with customers and team members Demonstrate your commitment toHoward Hanna Mortgageand cultivate life-long relationships with customers, agents, and business partners Ability to earn people’s trust and build relationships with all types of clients Have a thorough understanding of Federal Housing Authority (FHA), Veteran Affairs (VA), Federal National Mortgage (Fannie Mae), USDA, and other types of conventional loans Strive to be the best version of you – Be professional, approachable, empathetic, responsive and positive!
