Laboratory Team Leader

Catalent seeks a Laboratory Team Leader for its Greenville, North Carolina oral solid dose manufacturing site. The role supervises laboratory personnel, provides mentoring and coaching, and ensures compliance with GMP standards while supporting both internal and external client projects.
Responsibilities
- Supervise laboratory personnel and provide coaching, mentoring, and on-the-job training
- Manage direct report development, performance reviews, and conflict resolution
- Schedule analytical work, review data packets, and ensure GMP-compliant documentation
- Lead quality and safety initiatives, investigate deviations and out-of-specification results
- Serve as analytical representative for internal and external client projects
Requirements
- Associate degree in Biotechnology, Chemistry, or equivalent science with 9 years pharmaceutical analytical chemistry experience
- Bachelor's degree in science field with 8 years pharmaceutical analytical chemistry experience
- Master's degree in science field with 6 years pharmaceutical analytical chemistry experience
- PhD in science field with 4 years pharmaceutical analytical chemistry experience
- Experience managing client interactions, projects, and mentoring junior analysts
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds unassisted
- Proficiency in pharmaceutical GMP documentation and standard operating procedures
