Sous Chef

The Pickle Factory is looking for a passionate and dependable Sous Chef to join our culinary team in beautiful Pepin, Wisconsin. Located along the lakefront, our restaurant is known for serving creative gastro-style dishes, signature favorites, and providing guests with an unforgettable dining experience.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and cook menu items with consistency and attention to detail
• Assist with food prep, station setup, and plating
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen
• Follow food safety and portion control standards
• Work closely with the kitchen team during busy service hours
• Help ensure every guest receives an exceptional meal experience

‍ Skills & Experience We’re Looking For:

• Experience with broiling, sautéing, and scratch cooking
• Knowledge of American cuisine and plate presentation
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Dependable, motivated, and eager to learn

Bonus Skills (Not Required):

• Pasta making
• Seafood preparation
• Sauce making
• Grilling techniques
• Experience with dietary restrictions or special diets
