Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Nuclear Medicine
Schedule - Regular schedule: Monday–Friday, 5x8
Orientations: Reduced Non-Billable Orientation for approximately 2 weeks, shifts likely from 08:00 to 16:30.
Assignment Details - Typical daily census: 5–10 patients; up to 15 PET scans per day.
Requirements - Required: 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience.
Required certifications/licenses:
- State Nuclear Medicine license (must be in hand)
- NMTCB or ARRT certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Preferred: Cardiac nuclear studies experience, PET/CT experience.
Roles & Responsibilities - Perform general nuclear medicine studies and PET/CT imaging.
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals.
Monitor patients during procedures and ensure their safety.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to patient care and procedures.
Compliance / Notes - Must provide Social Security Number and Date of Birth during compliance.
References: 2 required covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years.
RTO (requested time off) must be included at the time of submission.
Candidates must be willing to work 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
Pre-start modules required (approximately 16 hours, completion recorded).
