Position Highlights

  • This is a full-time role requiring a commitment of five days a week, with responsibilities split between Sheboygan (Kohler Memorial Drive) and Plymouth.

  • The compensation structure includes a base salary of $306,007, along with a collaborative agreement with our Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs).

  • The role involves a 60/40 division between managing workers' compensation cases and occupational health services.

  • Responsibilities include imaging, splinting, wound care, medication management, back injury treatment, work restrictions, pre-employment physicals, TB testing, and adherence to DOT and OSHA regulations regarding hazardous materials. MRO services are managed externally.

  • Approximately 80% of the workload is scheduled, while 20% consists of walk-in patients.

  • This position offers a balanced lifestyle with a Monday to Friday schedule, free from night shifts, holidays, weekends, or on-call duties. Most days conclude by 5 PM, although occasional late stays may be necessary for patient care.

  • On average, you will see 16 to 20 patients daily, with a typical day averaging around 17 patients.

  • You will have access to DAX Copilot, an AI-driven clinical documentation tool integrated with Epic, which enhances clinical workflows by generating draft patient notes for your review and signature.

  • Support staff includes three clinical team members (MA/LPN) and two front desk personnel in Sheboygan, along with two clinical team members (MA/LPA) and one front desk staff member in Plymouth.

  • MA/LPNs will assist with ancillary testing and the patient rooming process.

  • A remote workers' compensation case manager is available to support the team and conduct triages as needed.

  • The occupational medicine team collaborates throughout the day using Teams, ensuring open communication despite having only one physician on-site.
