Job Title: Inventory Supervisor

Job Description

• This role oversees inventory operations across multiple sites, leading Inventory Coordinators to ensure accurate stock levels, efficient material flow, and effective use of storage space
• The Inventory Supervisor manages cycle counting, physical inventory processes, and staff training to support reliable, timely, and accurate inventory data for production and warehouse operations

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counting, detailed root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions
• Manage and oversee physical inventory counts at multiple sites throughout the year, ensuring timely reconciliation and resolution of discrepancies
• Lead and support Inventory Coordinators at multiple locations, providing clear direction, guidance, and performance feedback
• Train new and existing employees on proper handheld device procedures to ensure accurate allocation of material to work orders
• Ensure scrap material is properly recorded and deducted in SM3 or related inventory systems to maintain accurate stock records
• Review and manage cycle counting and inventory accuracy reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement
• Maximize safe vertical storage to increase capacity while maintaining safety and accessibility standards
• Optimize the proximity of material to production saws and other equipment to improve workflow and reduce handling time

Essential Skills

• Proven experience supervising 12 or more employees in a warehouse, inventory, or production environment
• At least 2 years of experience owning and managing inventory for a site, including responsibility for accuracy and workflow
• Strong background in inventory management and workflow coordination within a warehouse or production setting
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and train team members at various levels of experience
• Hands-on experience with inventory control processes such as cycle counting and physical inventory reconciliation
• Experience working in environments involving production, packaging, inventory, and warehouse management

This is a Permanent position based out of Troy, MI.

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $29.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Troy,MI.
