Little Blue Valley Sewer District , a public agency created in 1968, operates two wastewater treatment facilities in Jackson and Cass counties in western Missouri with offices located in Independence. Key Responsibilities Processing payroll accurately and on schedule Supporting accounting and financial record‑keeping functions Preparing routine reports, correspondence, and documentation Working independently or collaboratively across departments Maintaining strict confidentiality standards Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited four‑year college or university OR Minimum of two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Payroll experience (experience with 24/7 operations and/or union payroll is a plus) Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and standard office equipment Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information Strong written & verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and with staff at all organizational levels Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets LBVSD policy requirements Monday-Friday, Full-Time, Hourly Non-Exempt, Non-Union Apply Email your résumé or inquiries to View email address on click.appcast.io or apply online at Position open until filled.
