The Global Customer Support Team

At Okta, our Global Customer Support (GCS) team is on a mission to empower customers through proactive, guided, and deeply personalized experiences. Embedded within the Customer First ecosystem, GCS drives success across four specialized functions: Support Delivery, Escalations Management, Red Account Recovery, and Supportability. Behind the scenes, the GCS Program Management Office (PMO) fuels our progress—spearheading strategic programs that sharpen our operational rigor and raise the bar for customer care.

The Program Analyst Opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Program Management & Planning, this role will support the Global Customer Support program management team by assisting with administrative tasks, data collection, and communication for programs designed to help the Support team scale and improve the efficiency and efficacy of the Support org. This is an entry-level role focused on learning foundational program management skills, understanding team processes, and coordinating with stakeholders under direct supervision.  

What you’ll be doing 

• Support strategic projects for Customer Support and partner support leadership by assisting with data collection, data analysis, and documentation for deliverables such as partner analysis, business process mapping, and partner governance reporting, under the guidance of senior program managers.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to support the implementation of solutions that improve customer experience, escalating and looping in senior team members as needed.
• Assist with the execution of programs by tracking action items, coordinating logistics, and supporting communications, compliance, quality, systems rollout, and education/training coordination activities between cross-functional entities.
• Participate in strategic initiatives that support changes to the tactical approach to customer support, including policies, workflows and performance standards, under direct supervision.
• Help assess current systems, best practices, quality, and service by gathering data and documenting findings to support improvements that keep operations aligned with growing business needs.
• Support the training & enablement framework by helping coordinate onboarding logistics and ongoing enablement activities for Support Engineers and other pertinent Support roles.
• Perform additional responsibilities and complete other projects, as assigned.

What you’ll bring to the role

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 0+ years of related experience in a professional role; recent graduates and early-career candidates are encouraged to apply (Summer of 2025 and Summer of 2026 grads).
• Basic familiarity and user-level understanding of core collaboration tools like Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets), Slack, and Zoom for communication and basic task management. Awareness of project management tools like Jira or Asana through exposure to team workflows.
• Uses professional knowledge and basic problem-solving skills to identify and fix problems; decides on actions based on established guidelines.
• Handles simple problems using standard practices and procedures; analyzes data to find answers easily; typically receives general instructions for tasks and new assignments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; delivers clear communication and provides transparency on project status and progress of initiatives.
• Demonstrates an openness to diverse perspectives and actively participates in creating a welcoming team atmosphere.
• Adapts to a changing environment and understands influencing without authority.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and an eagerness to learn foundational program management skills.
• Comfortable collaborating with a wide variety of individuals and coordinating with stakeholders under direct supervision.

And extra credit if you have experience in any of the following! 

• Familiarity with the security or identity management industry is a plus.

Location

This hybrid position is open to candidates authorized to work in the United States or Canada and based near our Bellevue, Chicago, or Toronto offices. Please note that relocation assistance is not provided for this position

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, Illinois, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, Illinois, New York, and Washington is between: $77,000—$77,000 USD

Below is the annual salary range for candidates located in Canada. Your actual salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, RRSP with a match, healthcare spending, telemedicine, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in Canada is between: $91,200—$91,200 CAD
