Company Summary
This company manufactures heavy duty aftermarket components, specializing in remanufactured fan clutches, rebuild kits, and accessories. They were founded in 1996, in the garage, by a father and son team. From the first day, the two entrepreneurs were guided by principles to manufacture the highest quality products possible and never sacrifice quality for the sake of cost or speed. Today, this company manufactures and markets the industry's highest quality, completely remanufactured fan clutches, fan clutch rebuild kits, thermos witches, solenoid valves and fan blades, for the heavy duty and medium duty markets.

What a Swan CNC Machinist will do:

• Plan machining by studying blueprints, materials, specifications, and machining parameters
• Interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T)
• Configure mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points
• Tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math geometry, and trigonometry, proving part programs
• Load machine with work pieces
• Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces
• Maintain specifications by observing operations; take measurements; detect malfunctions
• Troubleshoot processes; edit programs; replace worn tools; adhere to quality assurance procedures and processes
• Meet production goals in terms of cycle time, quantity, and quality

What you need to be a Swan CNC Machinist:

• Ability to move or transfer products with a forklift or hand cart
• Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
• Ability to regularly stand, walk and reach with hands and arms
• Ability to perform basic mathematical computations, and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations
• Understand and have the ability to perform tool wear offsets
