CNA 12 HOUR SHIFT 7 DAYS PER WEEK

Immediate Openings for CNAs and HHAs

We have a client in Ormond Beach that is 24/7 and requires five caregivers to cover shifts. Open shifts are 8:30AM-8:30PM and 8:30PM-8:30AM. We are setting up interviews this week. Client starts June 1st! Must be caring and able to engage with clients. We offer several programs to our clients that fit their needs.

• Experience with Dementia
• Experience with ADLs and IADLs
• Experience with limited non weight bearing patients.
• Experience working with patients that has wound management
• Experience with lift to pivot stands and transfers are needed
• Reliable and dependability is a must!!!
• 1-2 years min exp with as a caregiver

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or healthcare professional.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and individual preferences.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up.

Requirements:

• Valid certification as a CNA or Home Health Aide or completion of a recognized training program.
• Experience in providing patient care preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic understanding of healthcare practices.
• Ability to lift and transfer patients safely and comfortably.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients in need of assistance.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
• Compensation: $17.00 per hour
