Description

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric Echocardiography Sonographer with 2+ years of experience and Epic proficiency for a 13-week contract in a pediatric cardiac care setting.

Details

• Work in a Heart Station unit at a pediatric specialty hospital facility
• Pediatric patient population with a focus on cardiac sonography
• Day shift, 8 hours, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• After-hours call coverage required on a 3-week rotation, covering 4:30 PM to 7:00 AM Monday through Monday
• 40 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Epic EMR experience required
• No floating required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of cardiac sonography experience
• Pediatric scanning experience required
• Pediatric Echocardiography certification preferred, or must have pediatric surgical heart center experience
• Current BLS certification
• License required if applicable
• Must be nicotine free
• At least 1 professional reference within the last year
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required

Additional Information

• Perform pediatric cardiac sonography studies in a Heart Station setting
• Call rotation covers overnight and weekend hours on a 3-week cycle
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
