Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 1st Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of one year experience in Medical Surgical nursing preferred. License: Requires current Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact. Certifications: American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider or an AHA approved equivalent. Must-Have: - Excellent customer service skills - Critical thinking skills - Strong communication skills - Organizational skills - Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice Description: The Registered Nurse is a practitioner responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This individual demonstrates competency in the delivery of care to a primarily adult population. The role includes essential functions adapted from the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice. The successful candidate will exhibit a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Collaboration with the healthcare team as well as effective communication with patients and their families is essential. The Registered Nurse will contribute to a positive patient care experience through excellent organizational skills.
