Pediatric Cvor Nurse

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 (06:30 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required; pediatric CVOR preferred License: RN license required Certifications: BLS, PALS Must-Have: - CVOR experience - Pediatric CVOR experience preferred - Comfortable floating to general OR patients Description: This position is for a Pediatric CVOR Nurse. The schedule consists of three 12-hour day shifts per week. Candidates must have CVOR experience, with pediatric CVOR preferred for all pediatric cardiac cases. Certifications required include BLS and PALS. A minimum of 2 years of experience is mandatory. First-time travelers are accepted for this role. The position requires availability for 1-2 weekends per month. Healthcare professionals will be expected to take care of general OR patients as well. The role involves congenital heart and other cardiac surgeries. Travelers must be prepared to float as needed. A maximum of 10 days of requested time off is permitted, and none is allowed within the first week of the assignment. Candidates must have a valid RN license to apply. Local candidates will not be considered for this position. Two supervisor-level references from the relevant unit within the past year are needed. Previous staff must be separated for one year before applying for travel positions. Modules may be required, and module time is non-billable outside of orientation shifts.
