Summer 2027 Tax Internship (Plano) | Koch The Tone: This is a full-time internship at Koch, located in Plano, TX. The TL;DR Role: Internship Type: Full-time Location: In-person Plano, TX Team: Experienced Tax Professionals Mission: Solve real problems, strategically analyze and report business transactions, and ensure accurate reporting and compliance with tax law. Tech Stack: PowerBI, Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, robotic process automation, Microsoft Excel What You’ll Actually Do Assess Tax Opportunities: Build relationships and understand business entities to assess tax opportunities. Gain Tax Knowledge: Attend trainings to gain basic tax knowledge and become familiar with tax software programs. Analyze Business Transactions: Work side by side with Koch tax professionals on the strategic analysis and reporting of business transactions. Prepare Tax Returns: Prepare corporate income tax returns to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with domestic and foreign tax law. Apply Classroom Concepts: Apply concepts learned in the classroom to real-world scenarios. The Must-Haves Background: Enrolled in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field, with eligibility for full-time employment no later than Summer 2028. Experience: An interest in corporate taxation planning, available to work a 40-hour week Monday-Friday during core business hours in Spring or Summer 2027, and ability to relocate per program requirements. Skills: Completion of two core accounting courses, a basic understanding of fundamental financial accounting principles, and strong Microsoft Excel skills. Bonus: Experience with data analytics platforms, business process technology, and basic coding skills such as PowerBI, Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, and robotic process automation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
